Dior at the V&A

I visited the Dior exhibition in Paris recently and I have now discovered that the

exhibition is coming to London at the V&A.

The exhibition is amazing and full of inspiration, colour and design, 

all of which can be transferred to your home design and accessories.

There is plenty of interior inspiration from The House of Dior in London.

20 different sculptures are placed around the store and all are amazing, 

ranging from art work, pieces of furniture and lighting.

Colour inspiration for your home

There is always an opportunity for colour inspiration while out and about.

Shopping in Liberty recently I noticed these balls of wool on display.

The colours are perfect for Autumn/Winter decor in your home.

You may already have some colours in your home but had not thought

about putting another colour with your scheme.

The House of Dior

I recently visited The House of Dior at New Bond Street, London.

This room display stood out to me with the beautiful pink wallpaper

with bee motif.

The grey, white and pink colour scheme is just so elegant.

Grey is a colour which runs all through the House of Dior from art

sculptures, flooring to furniture.

It's worth a look just at the decor in here and the icing on the cake 

are the products to purchase!

Who can resist a visit to Laduree when in Harrods?

Apart from the delicious and beautiful sweet treats available its great to see the amazing decor too.

Their displays and lighting in here are just amazing!

To use colour or not?

After a recent visit to Harrods, London and a wander around the various showrooms I found so much inspiration.

The question is to use colour or not?

You can achieve different styles of decor by choosing to use colour or not.

You can have neutrals all through a room, add a splash of colour with a feature lamp or chair or go for it and use colour on all furniture, curtains and accessories.

New supplier visit at Harrods

I wanted to share some images with you.

I visited a new supplier in Harrods recently and the showroom displays were amazing at 

Timothy Oulton.

They have some amazing pieces of furniture, lighting, artwork, the list is endless!
